In a developing country the "micro-networking" is a most important role to play to build the nation. Especially if it is the networking of age group on adolescence. This networking group would encourage critical thinking and awareness regarding issues of ethical practice and standards. Our "Interact Club" is the form of micro-networking which plays a vital role from 1962 over the worldwide. We start journey in Bangladesh from 1977 and continuing. The important thing is the more we spread this networking the more we get benefited. This the way, we build the nation by spreading the interact throughout our country.
How we can spread?
The simplest ways to spread interact to tell about interact club activities to at least one person a weak. You can do more to spread interact. Here are some tips to do –
- You can arrange a get together party at your home and invite some interact friend to that party. Arrange a session to tell about interact club activities.
- You can get permission to your school teacher to tell your whole class about the activities of interact club.
- You can sponsor a tour of your younger brother/sister and tell them about the activities of interact club.
- And many more way to spreading think yourself, ask yourself to get the right way…
History Of Interact District 3280 Bangladesh
The first Interact club named Interact Club of Shagun Bagica High School sponsored by Rotary Club of Dhaka established in 1967 of this country. But after few days it was damaged. After that, Rotary Club of Dhaka sponsored another Interact club named Interact Club of St. Joseph High School in 1969. Interact Club of University Lab. High School sponsored by Rotary Club of Dhaka North established in 1975. In 1976, Interact Club of St. Gregrij High School was made up. This club sponsored by Rotary Club of Dhaka South. Rotary Club of Chittagong was sponsored first Interact club in Chittagong in 1978 but the club was disable before getting chartered. Rotary Club of Khulna sponsored first (community based) Interact club of this country, named Interact Club of Khulna in 1982 and this is the most oldest Interact Club in Bangladesh at now After 1983, New Interact Club's made up day by day and 23 Interact Club's are running in this country currently [as of 2013]. In our district, we have a school based club named Interact Club of Dhaka North West Rotary School. Hope that, many new Interact Club's will be made in future.
In 1977, Interact Club of St. Gregrij High School hosted a District Conference of Interact District Organization-329 of that time. In 1981, Interact Club of St. Joseph High School and Interact Club of St. Gregrij High School jointly hosted a District Conference in Dhaka of Interact District Organization-328. When Rotary International District-328 has divided only in Bangladesh from District-329, then thinking about make a Interact District for Rotary International District-328, by this District's Interactors. 1978, 30th May, Gulshan Model High School hosted the first District Conference named B.M.D.C. in Dhaka of Interact District Organization-328 by fervor Rotary District Governor Rotarian M. A. Wahab. Itr. Samir Ahmed of Interact Club of St. Joseph High School was elected for first District Interact Representative for District-328 from this Conference. 2nd District Conference hosted by Interact Club of St. Joseph High School in 2nd Oct, 1987, 3rd District Conference hosted by Interact Club of Shymoli Dhaka in 14th Feb, 1990 and 4th District Conference hosted by Interact Club of St. Gregrij High School in 5th Jan, 1991.
Before that, District was under in 329, that time some Interact Representative was elected from Bangladesh. They are Rejaul Islam of Interact Club of St. Gregrij High School in 1980-81 and Ahsan Khalil of Interact Club of St. Joseph High School in 1981-82.
